Stacked Stone is a type of natural stone Wall Cladding that creates a rough, textured look by stacking stones on top of one another. With its emphasis on the stones' organic edges and variances, this design offers a refined yet rustic appearance. In both indoor and outdoor settings, Stacked Stone can be used for a variety of purposes, such as garden borders, outdoor kitchens, feature walls and fireplaces.
Yes, they are almost the same but there is a slight difference in sizes available for the same. Both the names are used interchangeably, and the installation process is also the same. To give edges and corners a smooth, finished appearance and facilitate easier and more aesthetically pleasing installations, we supply corner pieces in our Ledge Stone. To get a similar effect, more accurate cutting and fitting are needed because corner pieces are not available in our Stacked Stone collection.
All out Stacked Stone Wall Cladding options are made of natural stones. So yes, they can get stained. We recommend sealing the stones during the installation stage to make them stain resistant. Or else, regular cleaning the wall cladding can also reduce the chances of straining. Spills and stains of any kind should be cleaned up very once to keep them from seeping into the stone. Furthermore, resealing the stone once every one to two years will help preserve its protective layer and keep it appearing new over time.
Yes, as mentioned in the previous question they need to be resealed to make them retain their natural colour and become stain resistant. We would recommend resealing the stone cladding every 2-3 years.
To retain the colour of stone cladding, you have to seal and reseal the stones. If you maintain the claddings properly, they will look new forever. Do not use harsh chemicals or cleaners to clean the surface as they leave stains on the surface.
Our collections of Stacked Stone Wall Cladding vary in thickness at random, usually between 20 and 40mm. This organic variance enhances the wall cladding's texture and personality and gives it an organic, multi-layered look. Each installation is distinct because of the variation in thickness, which enables a more dynamic, rustic appearance.
