Porphyry Cobblestone walkways are durable and low-maintenance. These weather-resistant stones do not need much care. Simple cleaning with a pressure hose would help remove dirt or grime. Remove any weeds from time to time.

15. Do Porphyry Cobblestones need to be sealed?

Porphyry Cobblestones are composed of porous natural stones. We highly recommend sealing the stone during installation for better upkeep. Sealing helps to block the porosity and prevents moisture, dust, or grime from penetrating the stone's layers.

The best way to clean cobblestones is to scrub them with warm water and soap. Avoid using acid-based solutions to clean the cobblestones.

19. Can I use vinegar to clean Porphyry Cobblestones?

We do not recommend using vinegar to clean cobblestones. The best way is to clean them is with a garden hose. You can also put some dish soap or degreaser in a bucket of water and use the solution to scrub the stones.

20. Can you use bleach to clean the Porphyry Cobblestones?

Bleach can dull the colour of the Porphyry Cobblestones and hence it is not recommended for cleaning the cobblestones. The best is to use some detergent mixture, or mild soap in warm water to clean it and let the surface dry.
