Like every natural stone, Navona Limestone is also porous and prone to get damaged by moisture or stains. To avoid this damage and improve its life expectancy, seal the stone before installation.
As per the industry standards, you can apply 2 coats of sealant on the surface of Limestone.
It is highly recommended to reseal the Navona Limestone every 2-3 years to maintain its look and keep it safe from dirt and stains.
Navona Limestone is a faded white coloured stone and can easily stain in case of wine or liquid spillover. It is therefore recommended to seal the surface of the stone.
Removing stains from Navona Limestone is easy. We recommend using warm water and a soft cloth to clean the surface of tiles or pavers.
Since Limestone is sensitive to acids and other cleaning agents, the best way to clean the surface is with a soft microfiber cloth or mop. It would remove dirt and grime from the surface effectively.
A straight no! Bleach can etch the surface and leave an ugly stain. It should never be used on Limestone floor surfaces.
Limestone is sensitive to vinegar and acids. Any acidic or citric cleaners can harm the surface of Limestone floors. You should also not use bathroom, grout, or tub and tile cleaner.
